Calling photographers from around the world: the Pure Street Photography Awards 2026 are now open for submissions. This globally reputed competition celebrates the art of street photography — recognising honesty, timing, and visual storytelling in candid, everyday moments.

The 2026 Awards will be judged by a distinguished panel whose expertise spans editorial leadership, artistic practice, and street photography excellence:

• Fiona Shields, Head of Photography at The Guardian, with decades of editorial influence and curatorial oversight in contemporary visual storytelling.
• Rui Palha, Lisbon-based master of light and shadow, celebrated for evocative black & white street imagery and international exhibitions.

Who can Submit

The Awards are open to both professionals and amateurs worldwide. Work must be original, unmanipulated street photography in colour or black & white, captured with any device — from mobile to DSLR or mirrorless.
